The Sun Travel section is designed to give readers inspiration for where to take their holidays and breaks, and to help them get the best deals when booking them.

It features reviews of destinations, hotels and activities, interviews with important industry figures, travel advice and exclusive offers for package holidays, flights and hotel breaks. The section covers all areas of travel, from the aspirational, like luxury safaris and South American trekking, to the more functional, like budget hotels and cheap train fares.

Published weekly on a Saturday it features a mix of long, medium and short haul holidays and UK breaks giving our readers entertaining copy and a constant stream of ideas for affordable breaks.

The section is supported by the website which as well as featuring extra destination reviews and expanded versions of the paper's copy, carries advice sections and the Sun Travel Shop allowing readers to book packages, transport, hotels and insurance though our own branded site supported by Co-op travel.
